CASW Profiles: Meet Mamoona Tahir

This month’s interviewee is Mamoona Tahir, a dynamic and introspective Group Leader at PS/MS 37.

How did you get your start at CASW? In what ways has the agency changed since you started and, furthermore, in what ways have you changed?

“I started at CASW as a SYEP, i used to attend the school Im currently working at (PS/MS 37) and found my way back there as an after school teacher. I’ve found myself to be more assertive and formed a bond with all the staff and kids.”

Where would you personally like to see the organization go in the future?

“I want more people to learn about CASW and the wonderful family that comes with it. I definitely wanna see more people coming into the community.”

What is your most impactful memory at CASW?

“The thanksgiving dinner [At PS/MS 37]”
