(CASW) is a 501(c)(3) organization created to engage at-risk youth in a range of age-appropriate programs and activities that will increase their self-esteem and confidence, and prepare them to participate fully as productive members of society.
Purpose Statement
The job of School Program Group Leader is established for the purpose/s of helping students develop and strengthen academic, physical, and social skills by helping and tutoring students in the after-school program.
Key Responsibilities
● Assists in developing and implementing program activities
● Contributes to curriculum planning
● Maintains day-to-day compliance with the after-school program
● Includes homework assistance, recreational activities, leadership development,
education, and career development
● Leads groups toward their success
● Reports progress of students to parents in parent engagement events
● Attends staff meetings and professional development training
Individual Responsibilities
● Arrive on time for work or contact the supervisor when delayed
● Be reliable in attendance and give ample notice for absences
● Come to work with a positive attitude
● Approach criticism with a learning attitude
● Good Role Model
Education & Experience
● High School Diploma required, some college preferred
● Two years’ experience working with elementary grades students
● Able to work independently and/or in a team
● Good communication skills
Salary:
● $20.00 per hour
Language:
● English and Spanish Fluently (Preferred)

● After School Hours, Summer Camp hours as well if employed for Summer
