CASW Discusses Social Media Strategy at NYC Panel Event

As a community based non-profit organization, we make it a priority to collaborate with our partners across NYC. By taking the time to meet and exchange ideas, we can effectively grow to serve youth across all five boroughs of NYC!!! This is why we were beyond excited to participate in a recent panel discussion titled “Putting Social Media to Work,” where we discussed our strategies to market CASW and the opportunities we can provide to young people in our communities!

Exploring the Role of Social Media in Nonprofit Marketing & Outreach

CASW received an invitation from Workforce Professionals Training Institute and DYCD, asking us to form a part of this panel, where we would have the opportunity to discuss our efforts with social media as an organization. Our in-house media team sent Melody Pujols to represent CASW, and discuss how our media journey has encouraged us to develop as both an agency and greater community. The panel consisted of numerous representatives from DYCD programs around the city and discussion covered numerous topics in social media marketing; such as choosing the right platforms for your program, appealing to youth as a potential audience, and even the ethics of using AI in the workplace.

Insights from CASW’s Social Media Journey and Community Impact

CASW was of course honored to share our experiences alongside our incredible partners around NYC. Our social media strategy has been underway for less than four years and, as anyone on our media team will tell you, it has been a process of trial and error. Yet, through the countless experiments and brainstorming meetings, the process is ultimately satisfying, especially as we find new ways to connect with different audiences!!!
