As we reach the final days of summer programming, many of our participants are celebrating the memories and friendships they’ve made. Over at PS 18, participants have had double cause for celebration, as they recently held both their Summer Rising Barbecue and Final Culminating Show.
The former is a chance for participants and staff to relax and have some good old-fashioned summertime fun; which of course includes food and even face-painting! The latter is an opportunity to showcase the performances which participants have worked on all summer, including the Caribbean drumming class that we’ve published in past issues.
