At CASW-Dyckman, our middle school girls came together to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day in a remarkable fashion. As part of the site’s MLK-Day Camp, the girls enjoyed a day packed full of activities tailored toward Dr. King’s values and their own visions for the future. To finish this special day, participants completed an impactful empowerment poem in which they had the opportunity to talk about their dreams for themselves.
