CASW teamed up with the Dominican Bar Association to give an amazing presentation at Centro Civic Cultural Dominicano! Samuel Rivera, Kenia Lino, and Daniera Marte, and Leah Pappas from PS 18 and PS 115 respectively, teamed up with our Deputy Director Atenedoro Gonzalez and Angeramis Tejeda, Esq.!
The topic of this presentation? Our team focused on civic engagement – specifically the importance of connecting with one’s community and getting out to vote with The People’s Money – a new campaign that allows NYC residents to have a direct say over how funds are allocated within their communities.
