CASW Profiles: Meet Victoria Canuelas

In this new feature, we’re conducting rapid interviews with our colleagues across the agency. The idea is to putt a face to certain names and highlight the incredible people we work with everyday. Through these profiles, you’ll not only the scoop on what they think of CASW, but also, the unique personalities they bring to work each and every day.

Our first interviewee is a Victoria Canuelas, a group leader at PS/MS 37.

How did you get your start at CASW? In what ways has the agency changed since you started and, furthermore, in what ways have you changed?

“I reached out to Julissa about working in the summer and once the summer was over I was interviewed by Dahiana. The program [has] changed because now we have so many more opportunities for more activities. I have changed because I have adopted all the responsibilities it takes to be a great group leader.”

Where would you personally like to see the organization go in the future?

“I would like to see even more activities and more availability for all of the participants all across New York City.”
