Young Biologists at Work…

At CASW-Bronx River, Summer Rising has only begun and there are already young, scientific minds at work. Participants are deeply invested in a summer-long biology program. During their first session, participants learned the anatomy of both animal and plant cells, and later tried their hand at making their own models out of clay. This activity not only encouraged them to develop their creativity and visual memory, but also helped foster their curiosity toward the natural world.
